EverestNews via NepalNews reports that Pemba Dorje Sherpa, 28, who claims to have climbed Everest in a record 8 hours 10 minutes was thrown in jail after he went to the police to compalin of being harrassed claimed the record in 2004.âââ¬ÃâI have been cheated. I have no involvement in this scandal. Inspector Suresh forced me to sign the paper by threatening me with a pistol on my temple,âââ¬Ã said Sherpa, according to NepalNews. âââ¬ÃâI had actually gone to the police office to lodge a complaint regarding continuous death threats.âââ¬ÃÂ
