Taum Sauk Dubbed Brokeback Mountain

A John Darkow cartoon in the Columbia Tribune on December 18 depicts the Taum Sauk disaster as “Brokeback Mountain.”

The Missouri Parks Department has an official page now on the disaster which includes photos, registration for volunteer clean up and a spot to make comments about your experiences at the park.
