18 Killed Mount Kangru in Nepal Avalanche

Outlook India reports 18 climbers including seven French nationals were killed in an avalanche on 6981m Mount Kangru in north-west district of Manang in Nepal.

The missing French climbers include 60-year-old Daniel Stolzenberg, his wife, Marie-Odile, and 61-year-old Bernard Constantin, all of whom were very experienced as mountaineering guides. Four Sherpa guides from the 22-member climbing expedition have been found alive and taken to safety.
