The Magic Valley Times News in Idaho has a profile of Chris Anderson who has completed 46 of the lower 48 and whose website was one of the first devoted to highpointing.
Chris has 46 highpoints and jokes he has lived “in all the I states.”
Anderson is in charge of the telescope and at the Faulkner Planetarium at College of Southern Idaho’s Herrett Center for Arts and Science and writes a weekly astronomy column, published every Sunday in The Times-News.
Jim Woods, the Herrett Center’s director, says Anderson’s enthusiasm is contagious.
“Chris’ greatest gift is his very good way of explaining the science of physics to a non-physics person. He makes the abstract understandable.”
