The highest point of Denmark was until now Ejer-Bavne with a “record”-height of 170.89 meters. A group of experts under the lead of the geographical institute, after having made extensiv measurements and even drillings, came to the conclusion that this value is wrong and that the correct height is 170.35 meters above sea level. As a consequence of this loss in height of 0.54 meters Ejer-Bavne is not the highest point of the country. The highest point of Denmark is a hill called Mllehj with a height of 170.86 meters. (This is about an inch less than the previous highest point.). This was discussed in our forum.
