Italian climber Luciano Colombo of Mandello died in a 1,000 foot fall on the Denali Pass to 17,200 foot camp portion of Mount McKinley.

Reports indicate Tucker Taffe, of Alta, Utah, died in a fall on the Nisqually Glacier on Mount Rainier.
Fatal Nisqually Glacier Fall on Guided Mount Rainier Climb
Tucker Taffe, 33, of Alta, Utah, was killed after he fell 100 feet into a crevasse on the Nisqually Glacier on Mount Glacier. He was on a guided climb.
