4 McKinley Climbers Presumed Dead in Avalanche
Four members of the Miyagi Workers Alpine Federation were presumed killed in an avalanche on Thursday, June 14, 2012. The climbers are 64-year-old Yoshiaki Kato, 50-year-old Masako Suda, 56-year-old Michiko Suzuki, and 63-year-old Tamao Suzuki.

The body of 32-year-old Jared Townsley was found on February 7 at about 9,200-feet on Mount Hood. He had been reported missing on February 6 after not returning.
Man Killed in Fall From Gannett Peak Summit
Don Scott, 63, from Boise died in a fall from Gannett Peak. He fell while standing on top of Gannett Peak. Strong winds have prevented helicopters from recovering his body.
