Climber Takes Swipe at Krakauer's Into Thin Air Book

Gau Ming-Ho a climber depicted as a slow selfish climber that led to the problems highlighted in Jon Krakauer’s “Into Thin Air”, has launched a documentary refuting the claims and saying the problems lie with the corruption of the guide services that charge $65,000 for an Everest climb

The documentary is called “Prayer Flags.”

It also takes a swipe at others, including Russian guide and wellknown mountaineer Anatoli Boukreev, prompting the latter to write another book, “The Climb” to give his side of the story.

“I decided to make a documentary to set the record straight.” “Prayer Flags”, the 30-minute video, holds human greed responsible for the deaths, not the storm.
