New Hampshire teacher died from injuries sustained during a snowboarding accident over the weekend at Sunday River in Newry, Maine. Shannon Kiernan , 28, a teacher at Winnacunnet High in Hampton, fell and landed on her head Saturday while riding on Obsession, an advanced trail. She died Sunday at Central Maine Medical Center. A ski area spokesman said she was wearing a helmet.
