Geologists Study By “Weird” Aspects of Alaska Range

The SitNews reports on a new study by Jeff Benowitz. of the formation of the Alaska Range which geologists call “weird.” Among the items:
*Denali sticks out with now big peaks close by (the closest is Nenana Mountain)
*They suspect the range is 18 million rather 6 million years old even though it looks “young”
