The planned summit this week corresponds with National Police Week. Three from Montana, one from Indiana and a Forest Service worker from Utah are on the team including Troy Bacon from the Frankfurt, Indiana police department. One Response to Cops On Top Begin McKinley Climb

  1. Troy Bacon says:

    Roger,

Thank you for posting the information on the Denali climb. The team was able to reach the summit on May 21, 2010 at 7:30 pm. Steve Janke, Caleb Pleasants, Nelson Grant, and I were able to stand on the summit in honor of Trooper Haynes. Cops on Top has climbed major mountains all over the world in honor of police officers who have been killed in the line of duty. We are currently planning a return trip to Argentina to climb Cerro Aconcagua in January 2012.

Denali was an amazing climb and we were honored to have climbed her in honor of Trooper Haynes. May his sacrifice never be forgotten.
