This week’s big cold spell dropped two feet of snow on Mount Mansfield and Mount Washington. Now, a severe avalanche warning has been issued for Mount Washington (although they say it should subside by the weekend). Of course the snow didn’t do much to stop the black flies on Greylock. Their Facebook post complains about the bloody mess there with them biting now.
